Participants
Around 150 early to mid-career professionals who are leaders in different fields of sustainable development will attend the event. They represent various sectors in society coming from business, government, NGOs, academia and media.
Participants are currently enrolled in one of the thirteen LEAD Fellows Training Programme around the world, and they will meet in Mexico for their LEAD graduation session. Each class, or cohort, of LEAD Associates that embarks on the training program is composed of individuals with a strong drive to acquire knowledge, share different perspectives and develop new skills to lead individual and collective action for a more sustainable future. After the completion of the training participants become LEAD Fellows and thus enter an influential network of peers.
“I would recommend anyone who is serious about sustainable development to do this course… The training is dynamic and issues-focused, and membership of the network provides access to some of the most active and knowledgeable professionals in the world.”
Daniele Cesano, LEAD Europe Fellow, founder and managing partner of CO2nnect
The [LEAD International Session 2007] was so inspiring and awakening for me. In whole of my life I didn’t get such a kind of training on Leadership before this. This session was thought provoking and it brought dramatic change in my life. It gave me vision for sustainable development…”
